Updates that just won't take

Updates that just won't take

For weeks now, I've been getting the same messages from Livepatch saying that an update is available. The following are the pop-ups (plus screenshots) that I see every single day.

Secure Boot dbx Configuration Update - Installed:

An update has been installed. A restart is required for it to take effect. (Only after trying to update it a second time once the system has fully booted.):

I've updated my firmware through Asus, using the Windows side of my machine to get the firmware update. I've checked drivers for my CPU and other hardware and all is up to date. Other than that, I'm out of ideas of possible firmware. Does anyone have any ideas about what could be causing this?

Comment: Are you constantly updating your Window's firmware or you only had to do it once or you did it just to be on the safe side?
