Space repartition:
Inability to scroll to the left with the slider:
I had lots of unused space on my (almost) unused Windows partition, so I wanted to switch it to Ubuntu. When I open gparted, here's what the diagram looks like:
[EFI system partition] -> [Microsoft boot partition] -> [Basic data partition (Microsoft's storage)] -> free space -> [Ubuntu partition].
The problem is that given that Ubuntu is at the right of the space I want to add to it, I can't fuse to the left nor move with gparted. I don't know what to do to be able to fuse the two.
At this point I'm almost ready to uninstall Ubuntu and create a new partition with more space. I've also seen that you can create a live USB key. If that's less far-fetched than all the black magic required to fuse a partition to the left, I'll take it.
SOLUTION : formatting a USB stick with Rufus and put Ubuntu 26.04 on it as an ISO image. You can go up to the BIOS by rebooting your computer and smashing F2 (or F10, F12 depending on your brand). Put USB-HDD in n°1 priority, it will allow you to launch Ubuntu from the stick. You can then use GPARTED to move the other partitions on the computer safely.
